Rachael Hodson grew up in Washington State and moved to Utah when she decided that the snow was deeper and the mountains bigger! She lives at the base of the beautiful Cottonwood Canyons with her husband Matt and two boys Noah and Isaac. She is an avid lover of the outdoors and has been involved in the ski industry as a ski instructor, tech rep, sponsored rider and self proclaimed “classy ski bum”. Rachael continues to fuel her love of the mountains through writing and photography and has done freelance work for several outdoor publications and ski websites.

Owner of mad kitchen skills and organic bakery.
Moved west (and apparently north) from Florida to learn how to bake at altitude. After cooking up a love for skiing and photography Gina has never let grass grow under her feet, or powder settle under her skis. Find her commuting from kitchen to chairlift where she may have delicious treats in her stylish ski coats.

While the bald eagle is a symbol of national pride, the Solitude Eagle is the all-knowing figure head of Solitude. While she sometimes needs to watch what she says, who and what Solitude is, is woven into her fabric. One thing is for sure: she’ll always give it to you straight.
