Nordic Center

Solitude’s best kept secret is the Nordic Center. Easily accessible from The Village, the Nordic Center has nearly 20 kilometers of trails set for both classic and skating styles of Nordic skiing. Additionally, there are 10 kilometers of well-marked snowshoeing trails that meander between the Nordic Center and The Village. Snowshoe and ski rentals are available.

Nordic Center Clinics

Women's Skate Clinic

4 week session Sundays 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Beginning January – end of season. All women, very social, lots of skate skiing! These 4 weeks sessions will vastly improve your technique while meeting other women who enjoy this aerobic activity. $110 or $135 with rentals.

Intermediate Skate Workshop

2 sessions Saturdays 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Offered all season long. A co-ed clinic focused on refining technique to get you ready for your first race. $50 or $72 with prformance rentals.

Classic Workshop

2 sessions Sundays 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Offered all season long. Learn on snow technique and the advantages of proper waxing. $50 or $72 with performance rentals.

Kids Clinic (ages 7-13)

Saturdays & Tuesdays 3:00 PM-4:00 PM. Offered all season long. This clinic allows children the opportunity to enjoy nordic skiing through fun games and races that offers helpful and enjoyable instruction. $15 per session or $50 for 4 sessions.
