There’s a reason you started attaching boards to your feet and sliding down mountains amidst Ma Nature’s least forgiving season in the first place – a reason that you want transferred to your children. And rightly so.
Snowsports offer a freedom, escape, and fun that is unparalleled through any other medium. Learning to ski or ride can be difficult on a kid though, and hard on you, as a parent, too. The Moonbeam Snowsports Academy, Solitude’s specially designed children’s program, is here to help make things easier.
Ski School Director, Leif Grevle’s guidance and tutelage are most evident within the Moonbeam Kid’s Program, the heart of the Snowsports Academy. Offering convenience and security for you, and excitement, games, and play for your child, the Moonbeam Ski & Snowboard Academy, will win both of you over. With a one-stop-shopping approach, you will find everything that you need under one roof, including lift tickets, lunch, rentals, and instruction for your child. This is not a traditional children’s program where your kid will be lost within a sea of grommet-sized skiers and riders, but rather, something different. The professionalism of the academy’s instructors, combined with a fun atmosphere and small group sizes, helps children improve their technique and develop more confidence on the snow, while leaving you with a sense of comfort.
Open to all ability levels for kids aged 5-12. Prices are per
child. Children must be at least seven years old to participate
in Learn to Snowboard group lessons.
