Solitude's 4th Annual WinterFest
Guests staying in the Village at Solitude are sure to be entertained throughout this festive time of the year. Expect avalanche dog demonstrations, s'mores parties, ice skating, carolers, alphorn players, magicians, ice carvers, storytellers and other guest speakers.

Santa Visits Solitude Mountain Resort
Look for Santa on the mountain as he hands out candy canes for all the kids. Later, meet up with him for photos by the fire pit in the Village.

Childrens Glow Parade
Children of all ages will want to take part in this special parade of lights. Kids meet at the Last Chance Mining Camp at 4:45 pm, ready to ski. Snow cat shuttle will take kids to the top of Main Street. Parade starts around 5:15. Free hot chocolate and treats from Whole Foods for all participants following the parade.

Kids' Mini Downhill
All eyes are on the Solitude Race Course as children ages 2 to 14 compete in this annual classic. Early registration begins Friday February 15th through race day. Contact Ski School (Moonbeam Lodge) at 801-536-5730 or Club Solitude at 801-536-5810. On race day all participants & parents must meet at Last Chance Mining Camp from 8:30 to 10 AM to finalize registration and receive bib and instructions. This event is open to skiers and snowboarders. Race begins at 10:30 AM. Kids compete for medals and prizes, which will be handed out in our Olympics-style ceremony.

Chocolate Lovers Festival
Bring your sweet tooth and join the fun Sunday, March 3rd. Several chocolatiers; including Premium Ice Cream and Cream of Weber; will be outside of Last Chance Mining Camp and Moonbeam Center offering chocolate candies, milk, ice cream and cocoa. Plenty for everyone!

Solitude Nordic Center "Spring Fling"
Put your nordic skills to the test and have a great time doing it! Solitude Nordic Center's annual Spring Fling includes a 7 km freestyle race, 1.2 km freestyle relay race, a free Toko wax clinic, live music, great food, and a costume contest. Pre- registration is $15 for 7k and $8 per person ($20 per group) for the relay. We'll be offering prizes for the fastes time for male and female in different age categories as well as for the best costume!

Peter Cottontail visits the Moonbeam Center, as well as an Egg hunt for the little ones.
